Reto Halme | Sound & Visual Track

From High-Speed Rhythm to Atmospheric Depth

Reto Halme’s creative journey is defined by a fascination with the intersection of movement, texture, and bass. Originally rooted in the high-energy breaks of Drum and Bass, his sound has evolved alongside a decade-long career in fashion photography. Today, based in Berlin, Halme has traded the frantic tempos of his early years for the expansive, analog-driven landscapes of Dub Techno.

Sound Design for the Kinetic Image

Halme’s current work is a dialogue between his lens and his sound. His sonic identity is built on deep, resonant frequencies and rhythmic textures that mirror the tactile nature of his visual work. This synergy is most evident in “Artemida Unrest” (2025), an experimental video piece where the original soundtrack drives the cinematic narrative, bridging the gap between Berlin’s club heritage and contemporary dance.

Current focus

Working from his Berlin spot, Reto focuses on original sound track and experimental videography. His music—reviewable on Bandcamp — serves as both a standalone sonic exploration and the heartbeat of his visual storytelling.
