New York fashion – blend of high-fashion editorial and the raw, multicultural energy of the hip-hop scene from the era
Art in Motion: Movement-based photography – natural shadows, depth of silhuettes
The Artist’s Perspective: Greenpoint Studio Series :
Photographed in my original Greenpoint, Brooklyn creative studio, this story highlights the collaborative artist culture of the waterfront. By shooting in an authentic warehouse space shared with local Brooklyn artists, we achieved a gritty, industrial atmosphere that complements the high-fashion editorial narrative. The photography utilizes the natural light of the studio to highlight the contrast between metallic art elements and the aged textures of the industrial space.
NYC Underground: The Honey Mag Aesthetic :
This series is a tribute to the multicultural hip-hop fashion movement of the early 2000s, inspired by the bold styling of Honey Magazine. We focused on the intersection of luxury streetwear and raw urban energy, capturing the vibrant spirit of NYC’s underground fashion scene. The styling emphasizes oversized silhouettes, vintage textures, and a diverse representation of street-style couture.
